It is the amount assigned to a variant in your source currency. Rate Sync multiplies it by the exchange rate and applies your rounding rule to calculate the store-currency amount.

Yes. Onboarding can generate missing source values from current store prices and the exchange rate. Existing source values are preserved. Review the generated values before syncing.

The target must match the store currency configured in Shopify. Rate Sync does not change Shopify's store currency.

Choose daily or twice-daily frequency and an exchange-rate change threshold. The threshold is measured against the last successful sync rate. Runs may be skipped if the threshold is not reached or no amounts change.

New installations have 14 days of full access. After that, Pro is USD 8 per month through Shopify. Without active Pro access, only Billing is available and automatic sync pauses. Your configuration and source values remain stored.

Development stores and designated demo stores are exempt. Development stores that move to production follow normal access rules. Contact support about demo-store eligibility.

No. The installation trial clock is retained with your public app settings when you uninstall. Shopify privacy redaction removes app-owned data when requested.

Yes, install Kursa Currency Converter to use Rate Sync's source-based storefront conversion workflow. Rate Sync manages independent variant source values and local Shopify prices; Kursa displays other currencies from those source values. Manual and scheduled Shopify price synchronization remain available in Rate Sync itself.

Rate Sync does not request customer or order API access. It uses store, merchant authentication, product, variant, currency, and subscription information to provide the service. See the Privacy page for details.
