Who operates the app

Murdeni develops and operates Murdeni Rate Sync. Contact feri@murdeni.com for privacy questions or requests about information you provide.

Information used by the service

• Store and installation information: Shopify store domain and identifiers, access credentials, installation status, authentication sessions, app settings, and onboarding progress.
• Merchant account information: Shopify sessions may include the merchant user's identifier, name, email, locale, and account ownership information supplied during authentication.
• Catalog and currency information: product and variant identifiers, product titles needed in the admin interface, source values, Shopify variant prices, currency settings, exchange rates, rounding, and synchronization history.
• Access and subscription information: installation trial timestamps, store development status, and subscription status, plan amounts, and billing-cycle dates supplied by Shopify to verify access. Shopify handles subscription approval and payment details.
• Support information: messages, email addresses, store URLs, and screenshots you send us.
• Technical information: hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser headers, request timestamps, and logs to deliver and secure the service.

Customer information

Rate Sync does not request Shopify customer or order API access and does not collect shopper profiles, addresses, order history, or payment-card information for its synchronization features. Its work takes place in Shopify admin and scheduled server tasks. The companion app, Kursa Currency Converter, has its own privacy policy and storefront behavior.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate installations, import catalog data, save source values and preferences, calculate and update Shopify prices, run scheduled synchronization, show history, verify trial and subscription access, investigate errors, and respond to support and privacy requests. This website has no advertising tracker or analytics integration added by Rate Sync.

Service providers

Shopify provides authentication, product APIs, and billing services. Vercel hosts the application, and Supabase stores app data and public assets. Exchange-rate requests are made server-side to the configured rate provider. These providers may process information outside your country. We do not sell personal information; we share information as needed to operate the service, meet applicable legal requirements, and protect its security.

Retention and deletion

We keep configuration, source values, synchronization history, and authentication data while needed to provide the service. Public-app uninstall stops automatic sync and removes Shopify sessions. Saved settings and the trial clock remain so reinstalling does not restart the trial. Shopify's shop-redaction webhook removes Rate Sync-owned settings, source values, logs, and credentials. Data belonging to a separately installed companion app remains with that app. Provider backups and technical logs may remain under their retention practices. Support messages are retained as needed to resolve requests and follow-up issues.

Your choices

You can edit source values, change settings, disable automatic sync, manage your subscription through Shopify, or uninstall the app. Email feri@murdeni.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information supplied to Murdeni. We may verify your identity or authority over the store. Requests are handled subject to applicable rights and retention requirements.

Rate Sync responds to Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. Customer requests are acknowledged without retaining their payloads because the app does not hold customer profiles or order records.

Security and changes

We use encrypted connections, server-side credentials, Shopify authentication, and verified webhook signatures. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above identifies this version.
